"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
. . . to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted as righteousness.
Do not lay up for yourselves treasure on earth, . . . . but lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven. For where your heart is, there your treasure will be also.
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put in your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
Have you ever skipped a rock?
