Ladies, join us for a fall hike or just to relax and fellowship at LaSalle Lake State Recreation Area!

When: September 26, 10:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Where: La Salle Lake State Recreation Area

There are multiple entrances to La Salle Lake. Please enter where you see the sign for “Picnic Area and Canoe Launch.” Park in the picnic-area parking lot near the picnic tables and large shelter.

Ways to participate:

• Join Brittany for the long hike: We’ll leave promptly at 10:30 a.m. for a seven-mile hike, which should take approximately four hours.
  
  
• Take a shorter hike: Several shorter trails are available if you would prefer a more relaxed hike.
  
  
• Come visit: Join Amy and gather together for some fellowship, you’re welcome to stop by anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and spend time with other women.
  If you’d like, bring a snack to share, drinks will be provided!

If you plan to attend, please let us know whether you’ll be joining for the long hike or coming by to visit. This will help us know whom to expect—and ensure we don’t leave without anyone planning to hike.

If you’re hiking, please bring:

• A comfortable backpack, preferably with two shoulder straps
• Extra water
• A packed lunch and snacks
• Bug spray and sunscreen
• A jacket or sweatshirt that fits in your backpack
• Comfortable, sturdy shoes

Please note: The long hike includes a river crossing. Your shoes will need to be removed for the crossing, so choose footwear that is easy to take off and put back on.
